Patricia A. Hanson, age 71, of Canton, died Sunday evening in AultmanHospital following an extended illness. Born February 10, 1930, in NobleCounty, OH., to the late Howard and Freda Sanford. She was a member ofMarket Heights United Church of Christ, where she was in the choir. She wasactive with the American Cancer Society, and enjoyed bowling. Most of allshe was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by threebrothers and one sister. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence of the homewith whom she celebrated 54 happy years of marriage; four daughters andsons-in-law, Candy and Raymond Stinchcomb of Canton, Laurie and Greg Oylerof Massillon, Melissa (Mike Smarsh) Hanson, Beth (Michael Genara) Hanson allof Canton; and one son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Sandy Hanson ofMassillon; there are five grandchildren, Shannon, Sarah, William C., Amandaand Angie; two great-grandchildren, Ashley and C.J.; one sister, Mary Birdof Caldwell, OH; and one brother, Larry Sanford of Dexter, City, OH alsosurviving. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. inDudlee Cemetery.
