He may have owned the house his mother lived in, since she did not own any real estate.

Elizabeth Huffman Hohman's obituary appeared in The Zanesville (OH) Signal on June 11, 1936 Last rites for Mrs Elizabeth Hohman, 87, were held Wednesday morning from St. Mary's Catholic church at Fulda and burial was made in the church cemetery. Mrs. Hohman passed away at the home of a son, Henry Hohman, Fulda community, following a lingering illness. Surviving are five children: Henry, neary Fulda; Mangus, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Emil, near caldwell; Joseph, Port Zane [Fort Wayne?] , Ind.; and one daughter, a nun in a convent at Nursery, [Hershey?] Pa.

By 1900, 24 year old Helena Thompson Brahler had given birth to two children, both of whom were alive at the time of the census. Lena and her parents were born in Ohio. She was able to read and write.
When Lena's son Andrew was killed in France in World War I, his military record stated that his mother, Lena Hopper, of 219 Harrison St., Zanesville, was notified of his death.
In 1920, Lena Hopper lived with her husband Bruce Hopper (28), a coal miner, her two youngest children Pearl and Edna, and her ex-husband, Henry Brahler.
In 1930, "Lena Brahler" (54) lived with her daughter and son-in-law Edna and Frank White in Zanesville. Also residing in the house was Lena's sister, Margaret Thompson Sorg (62) and 35 year Bruce Hopper, who is listed as an unmarried boarder. Lena is identified as a widow, despite the fact that both Henry Brahler and Bruce Hopper were still alive.
Lena Brahler lived in Zanesville at the time of her mother's death in 1932.

Surviving Mrs. Brahler are four daughters, Mrs. Pearl Gooden, Mrs. Harkace Pryor, Mrs. Ralph Bunting and Mrs. Orrie Lewis of this city, eight grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters, Joseph, Ernest and William Thompson, Mrs. Adam Sorg, Mrs. Henry Ritterbeck and Mrs. Lawrence Jones, all of Noble county.

In 1900, eight of Mary Warner Thompson's nine children were still living. Mary was born in Ohio to German-born parents.

THOMPSON RITES ARE HELD TODAY AT SUMMERFIELD
Summerfield, O., Jan 5. - Mrs. Mary Ann Thompson, 84,
widow of Nelson Thompson, who died at 5:30 Sunday morning at
the home of her daughter, Mrs. Adam Sorg, south of here, from heart
trouble, were conducted at 10 o’clock this morning in St. Michaels
Catholic church, Berne, by Rev. Anthony Tague. Burial was made
in the church cemetery with Brubach and Dearth, funeral directors,
in charge.
Deceased was a daughter of John and Margaret Warner and
was born and raised near Fulda but the greater part of her life was lived
in the Berne community.
Surviving her are the following children, Mrs. Lena Brahler
and Mrs. Cora Jerles, Zanesville; Mrs. Sorg, Mrs. Emma Ritterbeck,
Joseph and William Thompson, Summerfield Rt. 2, and Ernest Thomp-
son, Berne. She is also survived by one brother, Joseph Warner, Fulda;
36 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.Mary Ann and her brother Joseph were the last surviving siblings of the John Warner family. Joseph died six days after Mary Ann.

Gerald Thompson is listed as the youngest child in the family by Delores Snider, but no date of birth is given. HE did not appear in the 1900 or 1910 census, and is presumed to have died.
