UNDERGO OPERATIONS
Carl and Clarence Rupple, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rupple,
near Fulda, underwent operations for removal of tonsils and adenoids
at Memorial hospital, Marietta, Monday. Dr. Ditch was the attending
physician.
Obituary:Clarence Rupple, age 86 of North Canton, OH., died early Wednesday morning
at Windsor Medical Center following and extended illness. He was born in Fulda,
OH., on June 23, 1916 where he attended Fulda High School. He had worked for
the Timken Company for a short time and was later self-employed in the gas
business, retiring in 1981. He has a passion for music and played in the Clinton
Band.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mary Rupple of Canton; his
daughter, Judy Rupple who died in 1967; and his brothers, Frances, Carl and Bill
Rupple of California; and his sisters, Alice Eckroate of Massillon, Lillian Hupp
of Louisville and Esther Risher of Canton. Survivors include his wife, Vera Rupple
of the home; his brothers, Herman Rupple of Massillon and James Rupple of Canton.
There are many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Reed Funeral Home
with Rev. Raymond L. Tucker officiating. A private burial of ashes will take place

Beatrice R. Staudt, age 95, of Canton and Ft. Myers Beach, FL, passed away Saturday afternoon, Nov. 27, 1999 in the Canton Regency. She was born in Akron, OH in 1904 and a graduate of Ursuline College. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and retired as a teacher from St. Joseph's Elementary School in Canton. Preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Staudt, Sr., in 1978; two brothers; four sisters. Survived by daughters, Anne (Daniel) Dowling, Sr. of Canton, Beth (George) Barrowman, Jr. of Columbus; sons, Edward (Mary Lou) Staudt, Jr. of Canton. Richard (Margaret) Staudt of Columbus, John (Barbara) Staudt of Salem, Lawrence Staudt of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; sisters, Marie Babb and Dolly Simmons, both of Stow; She was a loving grandmother to 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church with Msgr. Frank A. Carfagna as celebrant and Fr. Norm Riley as con-celebrant. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
