Henry F. Schumacher, age 74, retired farmer
of Lewisville Route 1died Thursday evening in
St. Francis Hospitial, Cambridge, following a
lengthy illness.
He was born April 28, 1878, near Woods-
field, a son of the late Frankand Caroline Tamme
Schumacher. His wife, Josephine Burkhart Schu-
macher, preceded him in death on June 21, 1946.
Surviving are a son, Charles Schumacher, of
Canton; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret H. Paumier,
of New York City; four brothers, Joseph F.Schu-
macher, of Woodsfield, Route 4; George T.
Schumacher, of Woodsfield;Simon and Nicholas
Schumacher, of Louisville, Stark County, and one
sister, Miss Clara Schumacher, of Woodsfield.
A Requiem High Mass will be solemnised Mon-
day morning at 9:30 o'clock, at St. Joseph's Church,
at Burkhart, with the Rev. Joseph C.Finan officiating.
Interment will be in the Chappel Hill cemetery with
the Schumacher Funeral Home in charge.
Josephine Burkhart [Parents] 1, 2, 3 was born on 3 May 1869 in Seneca Twp, Monroe Co., OH. She died on 21 Jun 1946 in Monroe Co., OH. She was buried in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Burkhart, Monroe Co., OH. She married Henry F. Schumacher on 30 Oct 1901 in Monroe Co, OH.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. HENRY
SCHUMACHER THIS MONDAY MORNING
Mrs. Josephine Schumacher, 76 of Lewisville,
Route 1, died Friday morning at her home follow-
ing an illness of six months.
Mrs. Schumacher was a lifelong resident of
Monroe County and was adaughter of Theobald
and Katherine Burkhart.
Surviving are her husband, Henry Schumacher;
and two brothers, Conrad Burkhart and Aloys Burk-
hart, both of Lewisville, Route 1.
Funeral services were held at 9:30 o'clock this
Monday morning at St.Joseph's Church, Burkhart,
with her pastor, Rev. Joseph Finan, Rev. J. J. Don-
aldson, of Berne, and Rev. Stephen J. Pekalla, of
Caldwell,officiating. Burial was in the Chapel Hill
cemetery with the Brubachfuneral home of Sum-
smerfield, in charge.

Margaret S. Paumier, age 99, of Louisville, passed
away Saturday in Green Meadows Health and Wellness
Center.
Born in Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late
Henry and Josephine (Burkhart) Schumaker. She was
raised in Louisville, and lived in Woodsfield, OH, before
moving to New York City where she retired as a private
duty nurse in 1977. She was a member of St. John
Catholic Church in Canton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death
by her husband, Alfred Paumier; and brother, Charlie Schu-
maker. She is survived by her sons: Russell Paumier, Hubert
(Kay) Paumier all of N. Benton, OH; daughters, Thelma
Andrie of Louisville, Kathleen Paumier of Utica, OH; two
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three great-
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 10 a.m.
in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Fr. Ronald M. Klingler
officiating. Entombment will take place in Forest Hill Cem-
etery Mausoleum. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made to St. John Catholic Church.

Charles Till 1 died about 1990. He married Edna Agnes Brahler before 1956.
According to her grandson, Paul Brand, Edna's husband Charles Till lived with Edna and Robert Hartley until his death. Edna always introduced him as her brother, and he was known as "Uncle Charles" to her grandchildren.

INFIDELITY CHARGE MADE IN PETITION
Edna Harmer, aged 19, of 341 Putnam avenue,
through her mother, Lena Hooper, filed suit for divorce
against Lewis Harmer, Central avenue, in common
pleas court Thursday afternoon, alleging gross neglect
and faiure to provide.
The petition states that they were married May 29,
1924, and are the parents of one child. The defendant
is also accused of keeping company with a ward of
juvenile court. Attorney Perry Smith represents the plaintiff.The couple's divorce was finalized in 1929, according to a brief note in the Zanesville Signal on July 13th of that year.
In April 1930, Edna A. Brahler lived on Springfield Ave. in Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio with her second husband Frank H. White, and two children from her first marriage: Ruth A. Harmer (4 yrs 2 mos) and Richard A. Harmer (2 yrs 5 mos). Also living in the house was Edna's mother, Lena H. Brahler, who is identified as a widow, even though her husband Henry Brahler lived to at least the ripe old age of 86 (1953). Lena's sister, Margaret Thompson Sorg (62) is also in the house, as is a boarder named Bruce Hopper (35). Edna's sister, Pearl Brahler Bunting lived a short distance away on the same street.
In an article about the third wedding anniversary of Cora Brahler and Hark Pryor, the guests include "Mr. and Mrs. Russell Stemm, and daughter Ruth, and son Richard Harmer." (Zanesville Times Recorder, 1 Dec 1934).
The 1947 wedding announcement of Edna's son Richard Harmer gives his mother's name as Mrs. Enda Gordon of Santa Maria, Calif.
A brief note in the 1953 Zanesville Times Recorder stated that Frona Brahler Gooden traveled to Barstow Calif. to visit her sister, Mrs. Jack Speer.
Henry Brahler's 1957 obituary states that one of his children was Mrs. Robert Hartley of Barstow, Calif.
Edna's social security number was issued in Ohio prior to 1951.
According to her grandson, Paul Brand, Edna only had two children: Ruth and Richard Harmer.
Ruth Anita Harmer [Parents] 1 was born 2 on 29 Jan 1926 in Zanesville, Muskingum Co., OH. She died on 14 Jan 1974 in Barstow, San Bernadino Co., CA. The cause of death was cancer. She married Padre about 1943.
