Obituary:
Mrs. Elizabeth Ullman, an aged and highly respected lady, recently died
very suddenly at the home of her son, Philip, who resides about four miles
south of Harrietsville. "Aunt Lizzie" as she was lovingly called by relatives
and friends far and near, had reached her ninetieth birthday the 24th of last
August, and although in failing health, was able to go to the table to eat supper
with the family on the evening a little while before she died. Her husband pre-
ceded her to the beyond a number of years ago.
She was the mother of fourteen children, six of whom live to mourn the
death of a good and loving mother. They are Philip, of the family home; Peter,
of Harrietsville; William, of Lower Salem; Mrs. Phoebe Beardmore, of Warner;
Mrs. Lena McPeek, of Lebanon; and Mrs. Mary Glober, of West Virginia. She
was a life long member of the Lutheran Church, and having lived a beautiful,
useful life, has gone to her reward. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran
Church. Interment was made in the Lutheran Cemetery.
They had the following children:

Benjamin Edward Zwick [Parents] 1, 2 was born on 23 Jul 1886 in Franklin, Monroe Co., OH. He died on 2 Mar 1937 in Washington, DC. He married Petronella Mary Ann Burkhart on 23 Apr 1927 in Washington, DC.
Petronella Mary Ann Burkhart [Parents] 1, 2, 3 was born on 9 Apr 1886 in Ozark, Monroe Co., OH. She died on 25 Nov 1937 in Washington, DC. She married Benjamin Edward Zwick on 23 Apr 1927 in Washington, DC.
"A History of the Smithberger Family in America 1840" places Nellie Burkhart in the family of Anthony Burkhart and Hannah Kuhn. Other evidence contradicts that:
1) Nellie never appears in a census as a child of Anthony Burkhart (b. 1831) and Hannah Kuhn.
2) A child named Mary N. born Apr 1886 appears in the child in the family of Anthony Burkhart (B. 1849) and Mary Ann Burkhard in the 1900 census.
3) Researcher Mark Baker shows a child name Nellie in the family of Anthony Burkhart and Mary Ann Burkhard in the 1900 census.
4) If Nellie was a child of Hannah Kuhn Burkhart, Hannah would have been 50 years old at the time of her birth.
5) According to the 1900 census, all 14 of Hannah Kuhn Burkhart's children are living. All 14 are accounted for. Nellie would be the 15th child.
For these reasons, researcher Lynn Coburger believes that Nellie Burkhart belongs in the family of Anthony Burkhart and Mary Ann Burkhard, not Anthony Burkhart and Hannah Kuhn.Obituary of Nellie Burkhart Zwick, from Charlie Burkhardt
