McCONNELSVILLE -Margaret Schaad, 83, of 3072
E. Olney Run Road, S.E., Stockport, died at 1 a.m. Tues-
day, July 18, 2006, at the Genesis Health and Rehab
Center in McConnelsville.
Born Dec. 22, 1922, in Martins Ferry, she was a mem-
ber of the St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville
and a housewife. Surviving are her husband, John Schaad, whom she
married in 1947; two daughters, Mary (Donald) Waite of
McConnelsville and Cynthia Schaad of Stockport; two
sons, John (Annetta) Schaad of Stockport and Leo (Holly)
Schaad of Beverly, 14 grandchildren; and one great-
grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Sab-
astian; father, Paul Kossky; two sisters, Rosalie Kossky
and Mary Spencer; and two brothers, Julius Kossky and
Steve Kossky. No calling hours will be observed.
A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, July
20, at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 21,
2006, at St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville
with the Rev. Father Paul Walker officiating. Interment
will be in Beverly Cemetery at a later date.

Foundation for Children and Aging

Ralph F. Schaad [Parents] 1, 2, 3, 4 was born on 28 Jun 1911. He died on 29 Mar 2001 in Waterford, Washington Co., OH. He married Ann Pelman on 28 Dec 1949.
Accroding to an article in the Zanesville Signal, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Schaad of Waterford attended the annual Schott reunion on Sunday, July 30, 1933 at the fairgrounds in Marietta, Ohio. (See notes of Jacob Schott for a complete list of attendees.) Ralph Schaad did not marry Ann Pelman until 1949. It is not known if he had a wife prior to Ann Pelman.
The following appeared in the Zanesville Signal on June 24, 1939: SON HURT Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schaad have received word that
their son, Ralph, of Waterford, was seriously injured when
kicked by a horse. A blood transfusion was necessary be-
cause of internal injuries.Ralph Schaad and his cousin, Paul Schaad died on the same day. It is not known if the deaths were linked or if this is a coincidence.
