Marjorie Clara Burkhart, 92, 128 Brill Street, Barnesville, died Tuesday,
January 5, 1992, in Barnesville Health Care Center. She was born October 12,
1900 in Belmont County, daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Anna Hull
Mahoney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Clemance Burkhart;
three sons, Robert, Jackie, and William Jennings; one daughter, Mary Frances
Bishop; one brother, Ernest Mahoney; four sisters, May Stephens, Debra
DeHaven, Mary Murphy, and Dencie DeHaven.
Surviving are three sons, Charles, Thomas, and Joseph Burkhart all of
Barnesville; one daughter, Mrs. Francis (Sarah) Milhoan of Talmadge; 13
grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Services were held Friday from the Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral
Home with Rev. Gene Miller officiating. Burial was made in Assumption
Cemetery, Barnesville.

The death of little Robert Burkhart, two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clem Burkhart occurred at the home on South Chestnut Street Friday afternoon at three o'clock, from pneumonia.
Although permitted to be here but a short time to bless the lives of the fond parents, the baby had won a place in the love and affection, and in going, leaves them sad and lonely. Besides his parents, he is survived by one brother Jennings.
Funeral services were held at the Catholic Church, Monday morning, conducted by Rev. Wm. Robbin. Burial in the Catholic Cemetery.

Charles F. Burkhart, 84, Barnesville, Ohio died at his home. Born Jan. 20, 1923 in Barnesville, Ohio, the son of the late George Clem and Marjorie (Mahoney) Burkhart. A member of Main St. United Methodist Church, he was an Army Veteran of World War II and was retired from General Motors in Mansfield. He was preceded in death by by four brothers: Jennings, Robert, Joseph and Jackie Burkhart; and a sister, Mary Frances Bishop. He is survived by a brother, Thomas (Jean) Burkhart of Zanesville, Ohio; a sister, Sarah Milhoan of Tallmadge and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., Tuesday at Campbell - Plumly - Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville with Rev. Tom Detline officiating. The death of Jackie Lee Burkhart, the three-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. George C. Burkhart, occurred Friday night at their home on South Chestnut Street due to intestinal flu. Owing to his weakened condition from a previous attack of pneumonia, he succumbed after a short illness. Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters and four brothers.
Funeral service was held Monday morning in the Church of the Assumption, Rev. Father Michael Sullivan conducting the ritual. Burial was made in the Catholic Cemetery.

Dorothy A. Burkhart, 71, of Barnesville died Monday, May 19, 2003, at
Barnesille Hospital. She was born July 22, 1931 in Barnesville, the daughter
of the late Pete and Lela Dyer Castello. She was a retired presser for the former
Jonathan Logan and Barnesville Manufacturing and a member of I.G.L.W. and
the Barnesville Assembly of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph
A. Burkhart, two sisters, Ruth Trimmer and Nancy Lambert, three brothers,
Wayne, Don and Bob Castello.
Surviving are four sons - Terry Castello and wife Joyce, Bradley Burkhart, and
Robert Burkhart all of Barnesvill, and Mark Burkhart and his wife Angela of
Somerton; a daughter, Mrs. Mike (Tammy) Hamilton of Barnesville; two sisters-
Bonnie Hickenbottom of Newcomerstown, Oh and Irene Adair of Seneca Lake; a
brother, Buck Castello of Sandusky, Oh; 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Friends will be received today, Wednesday, May 21, from 4 to 9 p.m. at the
Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Barnesville, where services will be held
Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev Robert Kester officiating. Interment will follow in
Crestview Cemetery.
